Paint the walls of the ballerina-inspired bedroom a soft pink. For added depth, paint the fourth wall a darker pink color. Install mirrors on one wall, from floor to ceiling, and attach a ballet barre. The barre measures at a height that lets the dancer easily place their hand on the barre without straining to reach; it is above waist and hip level and will likely measure in at just under the shoulder.

Place images of ballerinas in frames on two of the newly painted walls. Place images of your little ballerina in frames -- recital and class photographs make ideal framed art work. Make curtains of tulle (the material found in ballerina tutus) for a special added touch. Hang dance shoes from the walls -- you can even have them bronzed. Have her classmates sign a poster at the year end recital and hang this poster on another wall. Use a ballerina stencil on your dark accent wall to create a striking white dancer silhouette.

A dancer-inspired bedding set is an ideal arrangement for this room. Tiny dancer shoes on pink sheets paired together with a comforter or duvet covered in the silhouette of a dancer makes for a bed that inspires little dancer dreams. Add throw pillows with sequined ballet slippers and images of dancing ballerinas.
