Place all plates on top of the cabinets that surround your kitchen. If you do not have space above the cabinets, place the plates on the shelves in between your cabinets so they are diagonal and on display. To keep them from sliding down and getting damaged, place them on small easels that are designed for decorative plates.
Hang vintage plates in the open spaces in your kitchen or dining room. This helps to fill any unnecessary blank spaces in your kitchen and dining area and creates a more comforting sense of home.
Put plates on top of and inside your china cabinet. This is particularly ideal if you do not have enough space on your walls. By placing your vintage plates in the china cabinet, you also create a sense of uniformity by having all pieces in one space.
Position any glazed pots that you have on the countertop along the border of your kitchen; these pieces enhance the decor.
Hang any vintage pots and pans on the underside of your cabinetry, directly above your countertop. Ensure that the pots and pans are secure by installing a pot hanger with hooks.
