How to Hang a Wrestling Belt on a Wall

Wrestling fans are often fascinated by championship belts. The fans are so enthusiastic that some of the companies that promote and televise professional wrestling sell replicas of the belts. Some cost several hundred dollars, and some may run several thousand. The belts are typically heavy, and the faceplate requires adequate support when hung on a wall.

Instructions

    • 1

Drill or hammer a wall hook into a wall. The hook must be slightly to the left of where you are hanging the belt. The center plate is the heaviest part of a title belt and requires the most support.

    • 2

Lift the belt up, resting the left side of the center plate on the hook. Line up a second hook corresponding to the right side of the belt's center plate. Mark that spot with a pencil.

    • 3

Drill a hole and install a second wall hook at the pencil mark. Verify that the two hooks are even with each other using a level.

    • 4

Place the center faceplate of the title belt in the two hooks; the belt must balance evenly. Stretch out the straps of the belt, allowing the side plates to rest flat against the wall. Make pencil marks at the location of the side plates.

    • 5

Drill new holes through the pencil marks made for the side plates. Screw hooks into the holes. Place the belt straps over each hook.
