Combining photos with paintings creates a collage that may be more effective at creating an effect than either photos or paintings by themselves can produce. Pay attention to the sizes and colors of the pictures and paintings before hanging them on your wall to achieve the best results.

  Gather your photo and painting options into one room so you have easy access to all of them for mixing and matching.

  Measure the size of the wall you're using with a tape measure. This lets you know how much space you have available for hanging.
