Group pumpkins of various sizes together on a platter, tray or a cake stand. Use green or white pumpkins for a different look.
Add embellishments to the centerpiece, such as pine cones, gourds of different colors and sizes and berries.
Light votive candles, and place them around the centerpiece to cast a warm glow on the pumpkins and to add a cozy feeling to the table.
Paint pumpkins darker colors, such as black, green or purple. Use acrylic paints for this process.
Glue fake crystals to the pumpkins for a sparkly addition to the table.
Embellish the centerpiece with spider webbing. Place the cobwebs around the pumpkins or over them to add some spookiness to the decoration.
Place red roses in bud vases, and surround the pumpkins with them. Red flowers look appropriate against dark-colored pumpkins.
Fill a cornucopia basket with miniature pumpkins, nuts, cinnamon sticks and gourds.
Stick artificial blooms, such as orange daisies and yellow mums, into the cornucopia arrangement to accent the centerpiece.
Sprinkle artificial fall leaves around the cornucopia.
Light orange taper candles. Then, place them around the cornucopia, or line the middle of the table with the candles.
Place a miniature pumpkin in between each taper candle to continue the centerpiece along the entire table. If the table is round, encircle the centerpiece with candles, and skip the small pumpkins.
