In these situations, knowing how to display art without putting holes in the wall will allow you to brighten up your rooms without losing your security deposit or reducing your resale value.

Instructions

Decide where on the wall your art will be displayed. Move the art around until you find the perfect spot for it. Place a light pencil mark on the wall above and below where the artwork will be displayed. You can remove the pencil markings with an eraser when the art is displayed.

Peel the backing strip from one of the adhesive fabric fastener strips. These are hook-and-loop fastener strips, such as the Velcro brand. Stick the adhesive strip to back of the artwork, in the middle of the top side, an inch or so from the top. Peel the backing strip off another adhesive fabric fastener strip and place it approximately one inch from the bottom of the artwork, in the middle.

Remove the backing strip from a third adhesive fabric fastener strip and place it on the wall about an inch below the topmost pencil mark you made earlier. Remove the backing strip from a final adhesive fabric fastener strip and place this about an inch above the bottom pencil line you made. Lift the artwork and push the fabric fastener strips on the back of it onto the strips on the wall. The artwork will now be displayed.
