How to Decorate Your Room With Moon & Star Mirrors

Look around the room to determine the best position for each of your mirrors. One wall could house all of your moon and star mirrors for a dramatic impact, or you could space the mirrors out around the entire room like a border.

Group the mirrors in a way that looks and feels appealing to you. You could arrange star shaped mirrors all around a moon shaped mirror in an orderly manner or simply hang the mirrors wherever you feel they would look best.

Mark the spots on the walls where you plan to hang the mirrors with a pencil. Use a measuring tape if you want evenly spaced mirrors or have a particular grid you’re following.

Hang the mirrors with the hardware that’s recommended for each individual mirror. Some mirrors may have a peel-and-stick backing that allows you to decorate the walls as if you’re using stickers, whereas others might require hammering a small nail or picture hanging hardware into the wall.

Include moon and star shapes in other parts of the room, such as curtains, bedding or rugs with moon and star patterns. Add moon and star shaped throw pillows to the bed or chair. Stencil moons and stars onto the dresser, headboard, shelf or desk if possible. Picture frames, candles, lamps and vases all come with moon and star patterns as well. Glow-in-the-dark moon and star wall stickers might be optimal for young children or teens and adults who enjoy gazing up at a sky full of stars with a full moon to light the way.
