Prime and paint or stain both sides of three equally sized wooden doors. Allow the finish to dry completely before making the room divider.
Place the three doors flat on the floor, side by side. Position the door to the left of the center door so that the door handle opening is on the left side. Position the door to the right of the center door so that the door handle opening is on the right side.
Measure and mark the left and right sides of the center door 12 inches from the top and 12 inches from the bottom. Measure and mark the right side of the door to the left of the center door in the same locations. Measure and mark the left side of the door to the right of the center door in the same locations. These marks are for the hinges.
Position and attach a hinge over each adjacent mark on the left door and the center door. Position and attach one side of a hinge to each mark on the right door and the center door.
Attach two decorative feet to the bottom edge of each door. Position the feet 8 to 12 inches from the outside edges of each door. Omit this step if you prefer that the doors stand directly on the floor.
Stand the doors upright. Angle the door on the left and on the right slightly to help the room divider stand securely. Fit and insert decorative door handles into the opening on each door.
