How to Change the Thermostat on a Maytag Dryer LDG8604AAE

When you are running a drying cycle in your Maytag model LDG8604AAE dryer, the thermostat controls the temperature of air inside the drum. If the dryer gets too hot when it is running, this may indicate that the thermostat is broken and not detecting the heat within the dryer. You can manually remove the thermostat from the blower assembly in the front of your dryer, then order a new thermostat from Maytag or an online retailer.
