Wipe down and clean the washer door and the door gasket seal after each load of laundry. Detergent residue, lint, hair and other debris can build up on the door and interfere with its ability to seal. As a result, the door leaks water when in use.
Dry off the door and seal once you have cleaned it.
Insert all laundry into the washer drum carefully to avoid damaging the seal. Before closing the washer door, confirm that the laundry is completely in the washer drum and not touching the seal. If laundry gets trapped between the seal and the door, it can cause damage and the door to leak.
