Instructions

  1. Error Code

    • 1

Push the “Pause/Cancel” button twice if the control panel displays an error code.

    • 2

Disconnect the washer power cord from the outlet if you have code “F20” or the “Rinse” light and “Clothes Clean” light illuminate. Check your water connection. Confirm that water faucets are on, the inlet hoses are not frozen and not kinked or clogged. Plug back in and press “Start” to resume cycle.

    • 3

Unplug the power cord if you have code “F21” or the “Clothes Clean” light, “Rinse” light and “Add A Garment” light are illuminated. Inspect the drain hose at the washer’s bottom rear. Straighten any kinks and look for a clog or if the hose is frozen. Confirm that the location of the hose is not higher than 96 inches above the floor. Additionally, it must be at least 30 inches above the floor or the washer continuously fills.

    • 4

Pick the “Drain/Spin” cycle selection if you have any other error code or illuminated status lights. Then, select the same cycle that you were using again and push “Start.”

    Other Problems

    • 5

Adjust the washer legs’ height with a wrench if the washer is not sitting level, which can result in excess noise and water leaks.

    • 6

Insert a piece of three-quarters inch thick plywood under the washer if it is level but still vibrating due to a floor surface that is not solid or sturdy.

    • 7

Use only high-efficiency detergent in the washer. Using non-HE detergent results in too many suds and water leaking from the washer’s back.

    • 8

Check hose connections on the washer’s rear if you are experiencing water leaks. Hoses should be tightly connected against the washer. Clogs in the sink or floor drain can also result in water leaks.

    • 9

Wipe down the washer’s inside after use or leave the door open and let the water in the tub dry. Doing this prevents odors in the washer.

    • 10

Remove excess water left in the washer at the end of a cycle by selecting “Drain/Spin.” When you have excess water in the washer tub, the door locks and does not open until you drain the machine. If the door is locked and the “Add A Garment” light is on, pressing “Stop/Cancel” unlocks the door.

    • 11

Confirm the power connection if the washer does not start. Push on the power cord in the outlet so that it is secure and check your breaker box or fuse box. Remove any extension cords in use with the washer, as they cause the machine to not power on successfully.
