How to Clean a Front-Loading Washer With Ammonia

Front-loading washing machines are both energy-efficient and use significantly less water than their top-loading counterparts; they boast a sleek design, lending a clean, modern look to your laundry room. Though these economically beneficial washers seem to have it all, they tend to be prone to an unfortunate odor problem that occurs every now and then. Luckily, with the help of a little ammonia, your washer can remain clean and ultimately odor-free.
