Place a level on top of the washing machine to determine the level of the washer. Measure the washer from front to back and side to side.
Use an adjustable wrench to loosen the lock nut on the leg that you are adjusting, which should be flush with the bottom of the washer. The lock nut is installed to ensure that the legs do not move during normal operation of the washer.
Rotate the legs clockwise to lower and counterclockwise to raise.
Place a level on the top of the washer again to determine if the washer is level. If the washer is not level, continue adjusting the legs until the washer is level.
Tighten the lock nut on each leg by rotating the nut clockwise until tight, being sure not to move the leveling legs.
