How to Replace Suspension Springs on a Kenmore Elite Front Load

Kenmore front-load washers have a tub that is set on its side. The tub agitates back and forth during the washing cycle. To prevent the tub from shaking too much during the washing cycles, a series of suspension springs are attached to the drum. If the tub is shaking and the washer is properly balanced, the springs on your Kenmore machine may be worn out. Replacing the springs requires taking apart the washer tub.
