How to Get Clothes Out of the Barrel of a Whirlpool Cabrio Washer

Unless you want your place to stink or your clothes to get mildewed, you must know how to take clothes out of the barrel of your washer. And while it is a relatively simple task to perform, knowing how to correctly unload a Whirlpool Cabrio washer will make for a better laundering experience, while protecting your clothes and machine from damage.

Instructions

    • 1

Listen for the end-of-cycle buzzer to sound, before removing clothes from the barrel of your Whirlpool Cabrio washer. If you begin the process too soon, your clothes may be too saturated with water or detergent.

    • 2

Lift the lid of the barrel up -- perpendicular to the flat top of the washer. Make sure it is fully extended, so that it does not forcefully fall back onto the flat top of the machine. If it does, it could cause damages to the springs of the lid.

    • 3

Reach your hand into the barrel of your Whirlpool Cabrio washer, and remove each article of clothing one at a time. Especially for more delicate garments, it is important to remove each one separately, so that you do not tear or damage it.

    • 4

Place each garment in a laundry basket, to either transfer to your dryer or air-dry.
