Removing the Back of a Whirlpool Clean Touch Washing Machine

The Whirlpool Clean Touch is a steam dryer designed for home use. The water line in your washer actually connects to the Clean Touch and provides the moisture needed for steaming clothes. The internal components on a Clean Touch are located at the rear of the unit. If you want to access them to troubleshoot a problem, you'll need to remove the rear panel.

    • 4

Insert the flat-head screwdriver near the top of the seam where the back panel meets the body of the dryer.
