Stand back from the dryer and look at it to ensure that it is sitting at a level position. If not, adjust the legs underneath the dryer by using an adjustable wrench and turning the leveling legs counterclockwise to lower it and clockwise to raise it up.
Connect the male end of a piece of 4-inch metal ductwork to the vent on the back of the dryer and the other end to the vent on the wall. Tighten the clasps on each end of the ductwork by pulling the clasp away from the ductwork until it is secure. Use elbow joints if you need to bend the ductwork. If you must use elbow joints, insert the male end of the ductwork into the joint and wrap the connection with duct tape.
Attach the gas line from your home to the gas connection on the back of the dryer. The gas line piping must be at least 3/8-inch NPT.
Moisten the connection areas with soapy water and then turn the gas on. If you see bubbles form, there is a gas leak. Turn the gas off and tighten the connection.
Plug in the electrical power cord from the dryer into the wall.
Scoot the dryer into place.
