Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Remove the screws securing the control panel to the machine with a Phillips screwdriver. Flip the control panel toward the machine’s back of the machine. You may need to remove the end caps on the control panel to access the screws. Pry the end caps off with a flat-tip screwdriver.
Remove the retaining clips from under the control panel using a flat-head screwdriver. Unplug the wiring harness under the control panel. This releases the cabinet on the washing machine. Tilt the cabinet forward and pull it away from the washer’s frame.
Release the clips securing the drain pump to the motor shaft using a flat-tip screwdriver. Wiggle the pump and remove it from the motor shaft. Remove the hoses from the pump with a pair of channel-lock pliers releasing the clamps. Clear the obstruction and put it back onto the motor shaft. Snap the retaining clips into place on the pump.
Place the cabinet back onto the washing machine frame and install the retaining clips using a flat-head screwdriver. Plug the control panel wiring harness in. Rotate the control panel to the front of the washer and install the retaining screws. Snap the end caps into place if any. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.
Unplug the power cord from the electric outlet. Sliding a putty knife between the appliance’s top and the front panel releases the front panel’s locking clips. Pull the panel away from the washing machine and set it aside.
Unplug the wires from the pump on the appliance’s bottom right side. Remove the pump’s retaining bolts using a socket and ratchet. Raise the pump up and release the hose clamps with the channel-lock pliers.
Pull the hoses from the pump. Clear the obstruction and then reconnect the hoses. Place the pump on the mounting surface and install the retaining screws with a socket and ratchet. Plug the wires into the pump.
Place the front panel on the machine. Pushing push on the corners snaps it into place. Plug the electrical cord into the outlet.
