How to Change a Door Boot Seal on a Maytag Neptune

The door boot seal is a rubber gasket located inside the frame of a Maytag Neptune washer that connects to the front door panel to stop water from leaking. If leakage is noticed coming from the door or front panel, a broken door boot seal is probably the problem. It can be removed and replaced at any time. A new door seal can be ordered from the Maytag manufacturer or from an online or brick-and-mortar retailer.
