Removing an Amana Dispenser Door

The Amana automatic front-loading washer features a dispenser door for automatic dispensing of fabric softener, detergent and bleach into your wash or rinse cycle. This dispenser door can become clogged when the improper detergent is used. The door is removable for easy cleaning and maintains the performance of your washer when cleaned at least once a month, or based on the frequency of the washer use. A clean dispenser door prevents mildew from growing inside the washer's drum and extends the life of the washer when cleansed regularly.
