Rip a dozen sheets of tin foil out of the roll; each of them should be approximately one foot long. The measurement does not need to be exact; just eyeball it.
Roll the first sheet of foil into a ball. Make it as compact as you possibly can.
Lay your tin foil ball onto a flat sheet of foil. Roll the flat sheet around the ball until it is ball-shaped. Again, make it as tight as you can.
Repeat Step three until you have a tightly packed foil ball that is approximately three inches in diameter. Rip more sheets of foil from the roll as you need them.
Repeat Steps one through four until you have another tin foil ball.
Toss one foil ball into the dryer when you are doing a small or regular sized load to reduce static build up in your dryer. Toss in both balls when drying a large load or a load of towels or bedding.
