# How to Switch the Door on a Samsung Washer
Samsung is known for its lines of televisions and phones, but the company also manufactures home appliances, such as washing machines. Samsung washing machines are similar to many other washers on the market. They have a front door that seals when closed. If your Samsung washer door isn't shutting properly, you can replace the door rather then buy a new washing machine.

- Torx screwdriver

Power off your washer and unplug the unit.

Open the door of your Samsung washer so you have access to the door hinge.

Peel the rubber gasket in the doorway back so you have a clear working area in the doorway.

Loosen the screws on the door hinge with a Torx screwdriver. Remove the screws holding the door in place and remove the door.

Fit a new doorway (available from the retailer or an appliance supply store) and replace the screws.

Tighten the screws to secure the new door, and pull the rubber gasket back over the doorway.
