    • 3

Press the two control panel release tabs, located on interior of the control panel, then remove the control panel and set it aside.

    • 4

Unplug the control panel wire harness, then remove the circuit board bracket retention screws and set the circuit board aside.

    • 5

Remove the control bracket screws, using a hex socket, then remove the control bracket and set it aside.

    • 6

Remove the retention screws located on the base exterior of the dryer, then grip the lower front panel and push down to remove it. Set the lower front panel aside.

    • 7

Disconnect the door switch and sensor wire harnesses located in the area that was exposed when you removed the lower front panel. You can insert a flat-head screwdriver into the wire harness clips to help you disconnect them if they will not disconnect easily by hand.

Remove the retention screws located at the top and bottom of the upper front panel using a hex socket.

    • 9

Remove the door mounting screws located inside the door compartment using a Phillips-head screwdriver, then pull the upper front panel away from the dryer and set it aside.

Place the belt around the replacement drum, then insert the drum into the dryer housing. Make sure to line up the drum rim to the two rear rollers in the dryer.

    • 14

Loop the belt around the tension pulley and motor pulley using a zig-zag formation, then rotate the drum several times to align the belt.

    • 15

Align the bulkhead to the upper mounting screws, then tighten the screws using a hex socket.

    • 16

Replace and tighten the lower bulkhead and lower housing mounting screws using a hex socket.

    • 17

Align the upper front panel with its housing, then secure it using the upper and lower retention screws you removed earlier.

    • 18

Secure the door using the door retention screws you removed earlier.

Insert the control panel bracket back into its housing and secure it with the retention screws you removed earlier.

    • 22

Reattach and secure the circuit board bracket using the retention screws that you previously removed.

    • 23

Plug the control panel wire harness back into the control panel.

    • 24

Snap the control panel back into place by aligning it with its housing and pressing in on it.
