How to Disassemble a Maytag LSE7806ACE Stacked Laundry

A Maytag LSE7806ACE stacked laundry center has a washer on the bottom. The dryer sits suspended above the washer on a stand. Disassemble the laundry center before storing or moving. Because of its simple, compact design, there are few, small parts to take apart.

Cardboard or plywood
Wrench

Instructions

- 1
  Place a piece of cardboard or plywood on the floor in front of the laundry center.

  Position one person on each side of the center. Grip the back of the dryer and the top of the washer. Pull it forward just enough to reach behind the appliances.

  Disconnect any water, ventilation or gas lines. Unplug the power cord.

  Position one person on each side of the washer. Instruct each person to place both hands underneath the washer above the stand. Lift the washer out and lay it on its side or back on the cardboard or plywood.

  Loosen and remove the washer feet with a wrench.

  Place another piece of plywood or cardboard on the floor.
- 7
  Position one person on each side of the dryer. Grip the side of the dryer and the top of the stand. Lay the dryer and stand on its back on the plywood or cardboard.

  Loosen and remove the stand feet with a wrench.
