Unplug your Bravos dryer from the wall. Use your wrench to disconnect the water lines from the wall. Push your dryer away from the wall at least five feet to give yourself working room.
Remove the back panel hex screws with your socket set's 3/8-inch socket. There are screws along the edges of the back panel as well as underneath the terminal junction. Some models use hex screws that you can use a flathead screwdriver to remove.
Unscrew the three control console screws. They are located on either side of the control console and in the back center. Pull up and back on the console control to detach it from the Bravos dryer top. The two silver retainer clips on the back of the console will disengage.
Disconnect the wiring harness from the lid switch wires by separating the white clip that attaches them together.
Locate the crease between the dryer top and the front panel on either side of the door. Place your putty knife or flathead screwdriver in each crease and push up. This will pop the two retainer clips and free the top panel.
Identify the belt pulley assembly, which is on the lower left at the back of the Bravos. Push the small pulley wheel forward to loosen the belt from it and the motor pulleys. Unwind the belt from the pulleys and the drum.
Loop the new belt around the drum and the motor pulley. Push down on the tension pulley and loop the belt around it. Manually rotate the drum to ensure proper tension is on the belt and the looping sequence is correct.
