Move the dryer out from its existing location, disconnect the power supply and air vent, and tip the dryer onto its side. Placing a towel between the floor and the side of the appliance prevents scratches.
Unscrew the nylon legs in each corner with an adjustable wrench, flip the metal bracket located between the leg and the bottom of the dryer up the other way, and reattach the legs.
Snap the stacking support guides into the pre-existing holes on each side of the dryer. Tighten the pieces in place with the Phillips-head screws provided in the stacking kit.
Attach the washer brackets to the back of the washing machine using the screws provided. The thick end of the brackets point upward.
Call a strong assistant and have them help you lift the dryer onto the top of the washer. Slide it backward so the brackets on the base of the dryer hang over the sides of the washer.
Slide the dryer back until the rear brackets on the back of the washer touch the back of the dryer. Fasten the remaining screws through the pre-existing holes in the top of the washing machine brackets into the back of the dryer to lock down the appliances.
