Move the LG washer away from the wall, and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Open the washer door, then insert a flat-head screwdriver below the bottom lip of the door seal.
Insert the screwdriver through the wire clamp loop, then pull the entire clamp out of the door seal.
Peel the boot seal away from the front panel by pulling down into the washer drum with your hands.
Disconnect the door switch wire on the top right corner of the inside front panel.
Open the pump filter cover directly at the left bottom corner of the front panel, then press the black drainage tube down.
Remove the mounting screws from the compartment using a Phillips screwdriver, then remove the entire compartment.
Remove the screw at the bottom of the front panel, then remove the screws from back of the top panel.
Lift the top panel off of the washer, and pull out the dispenser drawer from the top left corner of the front panel.
Remove the screws from the front and back sides of the control panel, and lift the panel off the top of the front panel.
Remove the screws from the front panel, then lift the front panel completely off of the washer.
Disconnect the drain tube at the bottom of the washer drum using needle-nose pliers. Pull the entire seal out of the drum.
Insert the new door seal over the washer drum, and reinsert the wire clamp around the seal by pressing it in with your hands.
Place the front panel back on, and reinsert the screws. Place the control panel back on and reinsert the front and back screws to the panel.
Slide the dispenser drawer back in, and place the top panel back on. Reinsert the screws into the back of the top panel.
Reinsert the screw at the bottom of the front panel, then slide the pump filter compartment back into place. Reinsert the screw into the compartment.
Place the pump filter cover back on, and reinsert the screw. Reconnect the door switch wire.
Close the washer door, then plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
