Disconnect your washer from its power source and turn off its water supply.
Unscrew the water inlet pipes from the back of your machine with a wrench. Some residual water may be expelled during the process, so you may want to place some old towels on the floor around the back of your machine.
Remove the drainage pipe from your drainage system.
Secure the lid of your washer with duct tape and lower the front of it onto a towel so the back of the machine is facing up. You may want to ask someone to help you since the washer is heavy.
Unscrew the panel that covers the back of your washer.
Loosen the clamp that secures the pump's inlet hose to the tub and pull the hose away.
Remove the wire protector and detach the pump's wire connector from the body of your washer.
Unscrew the pump's mounting screws and loosen the clamp that secures the drain hose. You can then pull the pump away from the body of your machine.
Unscrew the top section of the pump and remove any coins.
Screw the pump back together. Then connect the drainage hose back to the pump's outlet and secure the clamp.
Reconnect the inlet hose and its clamp, secure the pump with the mounting screws and then reinsert the wire connector and replace the wire cover.
Replace the cover at the back of your washer, move it back into position. Reconnect the water supply, drainage pipe and power supply.
