Move the washing machine away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Turn off the two water supply valves by rotating the handles clockwise until tight, or to the "Off" position.
Loosen the connector on one of the water supply hoses to remove the hose from the rear of the washing machine. Place the supply hose into a bucket and allow the water remaining in the hose to drain. Repeat for the other hose.
Loosen the connectors on the water supply hoses that secure the hoses to the water supply valves and then remove and discard the old water supply hoses.
Connect one of the water supply hoses to the water supply valve. Thread the connector at first by hand and then tighten it an additional two-thirds of a turn, using pliers. Repeat for the other water supply hose.
Place the end of one of the water supply hoses into a bucket and briefly turn on the water supply valve to flush any debris remaining inside of the hose. Repeat for the other water supply hose.
Connect the water supply hose that is connected to the hot water supply valve to the water inlet valve on the rear of the washing machine labeled "Hot." Thread the connector at first by hand and then tighten it an additional two-thirds of a turn, using pliers. Repeat for the cold water supply hose.
Turn on the water supply valves and inspect the connections for leaks, tightening as needed.
Restore power to the washing machine and move the machine back into its installation location.
