Replacing the Shocks in a Kenmore Washer & Dryer Combo

Kenmore washer and dryer combo appliances include a washing unit with a dryer on top, and there is a shock absorber part in the back of the washer that is used to prevent the washer from shaking or rocking back and forth during a cycle. If your washing unit rumbles loudly when you are running a load, you may need to replace the shock absorber. The shocks part can be manually removed from the back of the washer, and a new part can be ordered from the Kenmore manufacturer or purchased from an online retailer.
