How to Change the Tub Bearing on a Whirlpool Duet Washer

When you are running your Whirlpool Duet washer, you may encounter a problem where the washtub does not spin during a wash cycle, or it may produce a loud clanking sound. The problem is due to a loose or broken tub bearing, which is connected to the center of the washer’s outer tub. The bearing can be manually removed at any time and a new bearing part ordered from Whirlpool directly or an online retailer.
