How to Install a Door Switch on a Frigidaire Front-Loading Washer

The door switch in your Frigidaire front-load unit is a small latch assembly that secures the door in place. If this component becomes damaged, it is likely that the washer door won't stay shut, and your washer could leak. Using a couple of household tools, you can replace your damaged switch assembly on your own in a matter of minutes.

Things You'll Need

  • Needle-nose pliers
