# How to Reverse the Door on a Front Loading Washer
Reversing a front loading door is not possible on all models of dishwashers. When reversal is an option, installation might simply require rotating and switching the door. Always check with the manufacturer to ensure whether installation requires an additional kit. In some cases, reversal could require disassembling the window.

Open the washer door.

Kneel down. Rest the door on your leg, holding the bottom of the door with one hand.

Loosen and remove the door hinge screws on the washer's front panel. Set the screws aside in a safe place.

Rotate the door 180 degrees to the opposite side of the washer front.

Position the hinges inside of the door on the frame's pre-drilled holes. Place the screws through the hinges and into the holes.

Tighten the screws.
