How to Replace a Door and Tub Boot Seal for a Whirlpool Front-Load Washer

The tub inside your Whirlpool front-load washer connects to the front panel with a waterproof boot. This boot is made of heavy rubber and can tolerate years of use and abuse. If the boot is punctured or cracked, water and soap can leak into the washer chassis, potentially damaging electronic components and ruining the washer. With some basic tools, you can replace a door and tub boot seal for a Whirlpool front-load washer in about an hour.
