How to Replace the Seal on a Front Loading Kenmore Washer

Because of its location on the unit, the door on your Kenmore front-loading washer must stay closed during wash cycles. It does this via the boot seal. This is a rubber gasket that lines the inner doorway of the washer. When the door is closed, the seal prevents water from leaking out. If the seal becomes damaged, you can replace it yourself.
