How to Replace the Fan on a Magic Chef Wine Refrigerator

If you are a wine connoisseur you are likely familiar with wine cooling refrigerators, such as Magic Chef wine refrigerators. These are small refrigerators about the size of a mini-fridge. These fridges keep wine at optimum temperature and they function in a similar manner to regular fridges. Like a regular fridge, they need an internal fan to cool the system. If the fan doesn't function the refrigerator can't keep your wine cool.

     Unplug the wine refrigerator's power cable and turn the unit around so you have access to the rear panel.

   • 2

     Remove the screws on the back panel of the refrigerator. Remove the access panel to access to the internal components. Next to the main refrigerator compressor is the fan.

   • 3

     Remove the screws at the base of the fan.

   • 4

     Unplug the wiring harness from the rear of the fan and remove the fan from the unit.

   • 5

     Fit a new fan in the old one's place and replace the screws and wiring harness.
