Move your Kenmore refrigerator away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove the screws from the grille located at the bottom front of the refrigerator with a Phillips head screwdriver.
Pull out the water line from the bottom of the door to disconnect it then insert a flat head screwdriver into one of the two slots on the front of the water dispenser.
Press down on the screwdriver to pry the dispenser open. Remove the three screws from the dispenser switch.
Remove the two screws from the mounting bracket that holds the water line in place then pull out the water line from the connector.
Pull out the entire water line from the dispenser in the door. Slide the new water line part through the door.
Connect the top part of the water line then reinsert and tighten the two screws in the mounting plate.
Reinsert then tighten the screws in the dispenser switch. Replace the dispenser cover onto the dispenser.
Reconnect the water line at the bottom of the refrigerator then reinstall the bottom grille with its screws.
Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet then push your Kenmore refrigerator back into place.
