Unplug the power cable and remove any food and plastic bins from the inside of the door you intend to work on. Make sure you have a flat work surface near the fridge.
Locate the plastic hinge covers at the top of the refrigerator on the corners. Remove the cover screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Pop the cover off the metal hinge.
Remove the hinge screws and remove the hinge.
Open the refrigerator door and lift it up to remove it. Place it on a sturdy work surface.
Locate the plastic bearing on the bottom of the door in the corner. These bearings snap in place; thus, any problems with it are likely because it is has popped out of place.
Press the bearing into the compartment firmly to pop it in place. Make sure the bearing is flush with the sides of the compartment. If the bearing is cracked or damaged, it will require replacing.
Pop the bearing out with the tip of a flat-head screwdriver and fit in a new bearing. Snap it in place in the compartment.
Replace the fridge door, hinge and cover.
