How to Replace a KitchenAid Side-by-Side Water Housing

The plastic housing on the outside of your KitchenAid water dispenser hides the internal wiring connections and switches and provides protection for the control panel and dispenser paddles. You might need to change the housing if the plastic cracks or suffers damage. The controls for the water and ice dispenser are often part of the housing. Some instructions may vary when applied to your particular model of KitchenAid refrigerator.
