Check that your Amana refrigerator is plugged into a working outlet and receiving electricity if the unit won’t turn on. Check the circuit breaker or fuse associated with the outlet if electricity service is on but the refrigerator still isn’t on.
Check that there aren’t any shelves or food products in the way if either French door won’t close completely. Wipe down the door gaskets with a mild detergent to remove any sticky residue if you have trouble opening the French doors.
Allow up to 24 hours after the installation for the refrigerator to reach your desired temperature. Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after added a large load of food. Adjust the temperature settings if the inside of your Amana refrigerator is still too warm. Make sure the doors are closed securely and not left open if the problem persists.
Consider adjusting the room temperature if water buildup occurs inside the refrigerator, because a humid room can cause this problem.
Check that the water line is connected if your Amana refrigerator won’t dispense water or produce ice cubes. Check the water line for kinks or obstructions that prevent water from getting the unit. Make sure that the water valve is open and the water services are on.
