Open the door that has the damaged gasket.
Pull the gasket away from the door to remove it from the door channel. Often, grasping the corner of the gasket is the simplest way to remove it from the door.
Continue pulling the gasket away from the door until it comes off. Discard the old gasket.
Wipe down the door channel with a clean cloth to remove any debris.
Align the new gasket with the door channel then press it into the channel so that the indentation on the rear of the gasket fits into the channel.
Work your way around the entire door, pressing the gasket firmly into the channel until it is fully secured in place.
Turn a hair dryer onto the lowest heat setting and heat up any portions of the gasket that do not securely sit into the channel. Heating the gasket makes the rubber more pliable, allowing it to fit easily into the channel.
