How to Repair an Admiral Ice Maker

An inoperable Maytag Admiral ice maker is typically due to a buildup of dust on the appliance's condenser, which prevents airflow and affects the appliance's ability to regulate temperature. As the condenser continues to collect dust, the ice maker eventually stops producing ice altogether, and you will need to clean it to eliminate the buildup and restore use. The ice maker restarts ice production once cleaned, and takes up to 24 hours to return to its normal operating speed.
