How to Fix the Light Display in My Whirlpool Refrigerator

Whirlpool refrigerators are controlled by a main control board, also known as a motherboard. Often, when the main control board is damaged, many components in the refrigerator will fail at once. Often, internal lights of both the freezer and fresh food compartments will stop illuminating even after the light bulbs are replaced, and the control panel display will stop functioning. The most common cause for the failure of the control board is a power surge. The control board cannot be repaired, and instead, must be replaced to restore the refrigerator to working order.
