How to Fix the Beverage Door on My GE Adora

The GE Adora refrigerator has a model available with a beverage bin that hangs on the door of the refrigerator. The bin allows you to store one bottle of wine or five soda cans and provides easy access to the beverages. The bin is made from wire, so it cannot be fixed. But you can replace it. If there is something wrong with the beverage bin, you can uninstall the beverage bin from the door and in stall a new one in mere minutes.

     Remove the “Dairy Bin” from the door of the GE Adora refrigerator. To remove, lift from the bottom and slide the retaining hooks out of the slots in the refrigerator.

     Grasp the two side wires from the beverage bin and pull them away from the dairy bin, out toward the sides. There is one wire on each side of the bin. The beverage bin will disconnect.

     Replace the beverage bin with a new one by inserting the wires of the new bin in the sides of the dairy bin.

     Push on the tips of the wires until they click into place.
