Pull out the refrigerator's plug, and push it firmly into a grounded outlet to ensure it is receiving power.
Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box in your home. Flip the power switch on the circuit breaker to the "Off" and "On" position to restore power. Or, check the fuse box and locate the fuses that power the kitchen. Remove the fuses from the fuse box, and replace them with new fuses to restore electricity to the kitchen.
Turn the refrigerator around to locate the air vents on the back. Unplug the refrigerator's power cable and vacuum the air vents located near the bottom of the refrigerator to eliminate dust and debris. The vents collect dust over time and require bimonthly or biannual cleaning to ensure air circulation.
Plug the refrigerator's power cable back into the outlet and press the control panel's freezer and refrigerator temp buttons to adjust the temperature.
