The Removal of an Evaporator Fan in a Frigidaire Refrigerator

The evaporator fan on your Frigidaire refrigerator is located in the freezer compartment, behind the rear wall. The fan ensures that the air in the freezer does not remain stagnant; it also ensures that the freezer is one unified temperature. It helps the air move through the damper into the fresh food compartment. If the evaporator fan fails. the refrigerator will not cool properly, and the temperature of the fresh food compartment may begin to to rise. To replace the fan, you must first remove the old evaporator fan motor.
