Move your Kenmore refrigerator away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Turn the water supply valve on the back of the refrigerator to the “Off” position.
Disconnect the front-end of the door water tube from the bottom of the refrigerator by pulling it out.
Insert a flathead screwdriver into the two slots located on the bottom of the water dispenser cover. Press down to pry open the cover, then remove the cover.
Remove the screw from the bracket that is holding the water tubing in place using a Phillips screwdriver. Then, remove the bracket.
Pull the water line out from the other connector, then pull the entire tubing out from the door.
Slide in the new tubing and plug the top of the line back into the same connector. Reattach the bracket of the water line and reinsert the screw into the bracket.
Press the cover back over the water dispenser, then plug the bottom of the water line back into the connector in the bottom of your refrigerator.
Turn the water supply valve back to the “On” position and plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
