How to Replace the Water Cavity on an Amana SXD25S2E

If you own an Amana SXD25S2E model side-by-side refrigerator, you have an ice dispenser on the left freezer door that dispenses ice and water. The plastic part of the dispenser that catches any spilled or leaking water is called the water cavity and it is connected between the dispenser frame and dispenser itself. If you notice a crack or any other type of damage on the water cavity, you can manually replace the part at any time with a new part.
