How to Replace the Hose in the Freezer Door of a GE Monogram ZFSB26DNASS

Move your GE Monogram ZFSB26DNASS refrigerator away from the wall and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Turn off the water supply valve for your refrigerator. In many homes the water supply valve that connects to the refrigerator can be found on the wall behind the refrigerator.

Disconnect the end of the water hose that runs into the back of your refrigerator by pressing in on the hose toward the valve, then pulling it out with your hand. The valve and hose can be found on the bottom rear side of the refrigerator.

Open the freezer door, then peel back the black rubber door seals on the inside of the door to access the screws holding the door liner in place.

Remove the screws from the door using a Phillips screwdriver, then pull off the inner door liner from the door. The water line hose will then be accessible from the top side of the door near the door hinge.

Press in on the hose collar, then pull the tube off of the valve. Pull the hose out from the side of the door to fully remove it.

Slide the new water hose down through the side of the door so that it goes through to the rear end of the refrigerator.

Connect the hose to the valve at the top of the door, then place the inner lining back onto the door. Reinsert the screws into the door lining and shut the freezer door.

Connect the other end of the hose to the valve on the rear bottom of the refrigerator, then turn the water supply valve back on. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
