The Sears 7901 line comprises four models, identical but for the outer case’s color. Model 79012 is in white, model 79019 is in black, model 79013 is in stainless steel and model 79014 is in bisque.
The 7901 models have two humidity-controlled crispers, a snack and deli drawer and four adjustable shelves, one of which folds to accommodate larger items. The machines are almost 30 inches wide with the door closed, just over 30 inches deep and 65 inches tall. The controls are digital, located inside the refrigeration compartment.
The internal water dispenser feature allows the user to access chilled water without using product bought in stores. Sears markets this feature as a way of reducing the impact of water bottles on the environment. The internal water dispenser is supplied from the same water hook-up as the AdjustaCube ice-maker, and so requires no additional installation work. Both the ice maker and the water dispenser are filtered.
The Sears 7901 models are Energy Star-qualified appliances, meaning they satisfied requirements for insulation and energy usage laid down by the Environmental Protection Agency and its partners. A 7901 model is likely to use approximately 20 percent less electricity than a comparably sized unit that is not Energy Star qualified.
